Mark Hendrix has more than two decades of product design and engineering experience. The holder of 19 U.S. patents, he previously applied his design innovation and creativity as Director of Engineering at CommScope, a leading global provider of communications technology. Mark was named one of the company's Innovation Award winners in 2017 and 2018.  Previously he served as Engineering Manager at Xtera Communications, Tellabs and Fujitsu, and began his career as a Senior Design Engineer at Texas Instruments. Because product design and development is his passion, Mark launched SRC Design Solutions in mid 2019.

Since 2012 Mark has served as a member of the University of Texas/Arlington Mechanical and Aerospace Advisory Board.  In 2013 he became a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was named ASME North Texas Engineer of the Year in 2010.

Mark has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
